Sheryll drew, painted, danced and acted through her childhood in Surrey. She studied a foundation course in Art, at Epsom College of Art & Design and then a BA (Hons.) in Art & Dance at Froebel College, London, winning a scholarship in her second year to study during the summer in Ravenna, Italy.

After graduating, Sheryll worked for several years as a free-lance Illustrator and Designer in Print and Advertising. She completed illustration work for The National Wildlife Trust and Leisure in Print Publications and continued to paint, taking part in her first group exhibition in 1994.

Sheryll then trained to teach in Further Education Colleges and taught Art in Prisons as part of her training. She also taught dance classes at her local stage school, later teaching Performing Arts at Wiltshire College.

1999 Sheryll moved to Wiltshire to set up her own stage school franchise and start a family. Sheryll has continued to paint, while running her schools and in the last two years has started to exhibit her work again, which has lead to several commissions.
